# Create a Grillo Cloud Account

Grillo Cloud accounts are created by invitation. You need an invitation to a project before you can sign up.

## Get an invitation

- **New customers:** Grillo creates your project and invites you by email. If you have sensors but no invitation, [contact Grillo Support](/support/contact).
- **Joining an existing project:** ask Grillo Support to [add you](/dashboard/organizations/managing-members) to the project.

## Sign up

1. Open the link in the invitation email, or go to [cloud.grillo.io](https://cloud.grillo.io) and choose **Sign up**.
2. Use the same email address the invitation was sent to. Sign-up is refused for any other address.
3. Choose one of:
   - **Email and password.** Enter your name and a password of at least 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, a number, and a special character.
   - **Google** or **Microsoft.** Sign in with the account that owns the invited address.
4. If you signed up with email and password, open the verification link Grillo Cloud emails you. Use **Resend verification email** if it does not arrive.

After you accept the invitation, the project appears in the project switcher at the top of the sidebar.

## Sign in

Go to [cloud.grillo.io](https://cloud.grillo.io) and sign in with your email and password, Google, or Microsoft.

To reset a password, enter your email on the login page and select **Forgot your password?**. Grillo Cloud emails a reset link.

## "No Projects Yet"

This page means your account exists but does not belong to a project. Contact Grillo Support to be added to your project.
